About the Author
Born in 1992 in the city of Montreal, Marlena Legault Monton is currently pursuing her education at McGill University, in the Bachelor of Education Program for Secondary teaching.
Since the age of 12, Marlena has been an avid reader of Fantasy literature. While enjoying the genre's ability to transport the reader outside of reality and into a new world, full of fantastical creatures and places, Marlena has also found a strong appreciation for Fantasy's ability to challenge its audience through material that is educational while preserving its engaging nature.
Her favorite authors being Mercedes Lackey, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Guy Gavriel Kay, Marlena loves novels that incorporate the Magickal with reality, the fantastical paralleled with real-life history, and the hysterical accompanied with important values and morals.
